The SwimShield Co. is personal.
I saw firsthand how chlorine affected my daughter with PANS. She was already dealing with so much—so many pieces of her childhood slipping away—that it broke my heart to say no to something as simple as swimming. I remember those rare hotel trips, staring at the pool and wondering: Is it worth it? How bad will the shower be afterward? Will she even be able to get dressed the next day? Every decision felt heavy. We were always walking on eggshells, trying not to set off (our very sweet and very cute) ticking time bomb.
When I finally noticed the pattern—chlorine exposure followed by hours or even days of flares—it actually felt like a weird kind of relief. At least now, there was a reason, which meant there had to be a solution. One more piece of the puzzle made sense. So I did what most of us do: researched everything. Get their hair wet before swimming. Cover them in coconut oil. Mix up a vitamin C spray. But let’s be real—when you're in survival mode, even simple things can feel impossible.
Sometimes, you just need the easy button. Something you can trust to protect your kid the way you would.
That’s why I started The SwimShield Co. This product has been tested on my own child with sensory challenges. It’s gentle. It works.
And my hope is that it can make life just a little bit easier for you and your family.

“I refused to believe she couldn’t be healed, so I did everything in my power — I read the labels, researched the ingredients, removed the toxins, and just kept learning. And now I want to help families like mine.”
